All-around air bag system

To protect you and your passengers in the event of a crash, your Enclave features a state-of-the-art air bag system,¹ including:

• Dual-stage frontal air bags for the driver and front seat passenger, which automatically vary their inflation speed and pressure depending on the severity of the crash and help reduce the risk of air bag-related injury
• Passenger Sensing System, which automatically turns the front passenger's air bag on or off, depending on the weight and pressure on the seat
• Side-impact air bags for the front seat occupants, which provide additional protection in instances when the vehicle is struck from the side
• Side curtain air bags for outboard passengers in every row, which help reduce the risk of injuries in a rollover

¹ Always use safety belts and child restraints. Children are safer when properly secured in a rear seat in the appropriate child restraint. See the Owner’s Manual for more information.
