Theft-deterrent system

Regal comes equipped with the sophisticated PASS-Key^® III theft-deterrent system. Embedded in your ignition key, a tiny radio frequency ID chip contains 1 of more than 132 billion possible digital codes. When you start your Regal, a device in the car "reads" your key's unique signature, recognizes it and lets you fire up the engine. The system foils would-be thieves by blocking the ignition during attempts to start the engine without a correctly encoded key. Best of all, the system works automatically; you never worry about arming or disarming it.
