Antilock brakes

Optimized to the capability of the powertrain on your Regal, these 4-wheel antilock disc brakes enhance your control during emergency stops and help prevent skids on icy or rain-slick surfaces. During hard braking, sensors at each wheel detect lockup before it happens, alternately applying and releasing brake pressure many times per second – faster than you could pump the pedal. You maintain steering control, a critical ability in avoiding obstacles during an emergency. The system's Intelligent Assist builds higher brake pressure more quickly for a stronger, surer stop when you need it.
