2.0L Turbo ECOTEC^® DOHC 4-cylinder engine

The 2.0L ECOTEC^® turbo-charged engine in the 2012 Regal has been designed with power and efficiency in mind. Regal Turbo delivers 220 hp¹ and 260 lb-ft of torque² with EPA-estimated 29 automatic/32 manual mpg highway. Regal GS delivers 270 hp³ and 295 lb-ft of torque⁴ with EPA-estimated 26 automatic/27 manual mpg highway. Simultaneously, technology controls the operation of this expertly crafted power plant. A direct-injection system pushes fuel into the combustion chamber to maximize efficiency, creating better horsepower and performance while maintaining low emissions levels.
