The price of gas should never keep you from having a comfortable commute, taking weekend getaways or enjoying the finer touches of a luxury vehicle. This is exactly why Buick has taken big steps to embrace new technologies and create more fuel-efficient ways to power our vehicles. When it comes to fuel economy, Buick is constantly striving to improve MPG ratings and creating fuel-efficient technologies that still deliver on our commitment to power, performance, style and luxury.
With a lineup consisting of the fuel-efficient crossover Enclave; the Regal and LaCrosse, both featuring eAssist Technology; and the Verano, a luxury vehicle in a fuel-efficient size – the 2013 Buick vehicles provide several options that can enable fewer trips to the pump.
The latest Buick innovation in fuel-efficiency, eAssist Technology, improves your vehicle’s fuel-efficiency by adding a compact electric motor and state-of-the-art lithium-ion battery to a 2.4L four-cylinder ECOTEC engine. This improves fuel economy by an estimated 25% in both Buick LaCrosse and Buick Regal, getting an EPA-estimated 36 MPG hwy with eAssist technology.
A mix of performance, style and fuel-efficient technology, the Buick LaCrosse, featuring eAssist Technology is engineered to give you an exhilarating driving experience with impressive gas mileage. With an EPA-estimated 36 MPG hwy, the Buick LaCrosse is the most fuel-efficient sedan in its class.

It’s sport-injected, has responsive handling, a comfortable ride, and is fuel-efficient. The Buick Regal is the total package. It comes in at an EPA estimated 25 MPG city/36 MPG HWY. Regal with eAssist is the choice for those who need fuel efficiency but don’t want to sacrifice great performance.

The Buick Verano was designed to offer unexpected luxury but deliver on the kind of fuel efficiency you look for in a vehicle this size. It’s thanks in part to the combination of an overhead cam Ecotec 2.4L four-cylinder engine and an electronically-controlled, six-speed automatic transmission. Together they help the 2012 Buick Verano offer an EPA estimated 32 MPG HWY.

Just because the Buick Enclave is large enough for eight passengers doesn’t mean it’s going to give you a lot of trouble at the pump. Thanks to Direct Injection and Variable Valve Timing, this crossover is one of the most fuel-efficient crossovers with an EPA-estimated 24 MPG hwy.
