Why is my phone not connecting to Bluetooth®?

Calls may drop when your vehicle’s ignition is turned off. If this is the case, the call will be transferred to the handset after a set time. A call may also drop due to a Bluetooth® disconnection. This disconnection can drop the call in the vehicle and transfer it back to the handset due to a variety of issues. First, check your signal strength and Bluetooth connection. How do I set up my infotainment system and radio?

Use your phone with your infotainment system by connecting it via a USB cable or pairing it using Bluetooth® for hands-free operation. You also can connect using Android Auto™ or Apple CarPlay® and use certain apps while on the road. Why doesn’t Apple CarPlay®/Android Auto™ show up on my infotainment screen when I connect to my phone?

Apple CarPlay/Android Auto functionality varies by smartphone model and requires the appropriate app on a compatible smartphone. See Apple CarPlay or Android Auto for more information and installation instructions.

Where is the wireless charging pad in my vehicle?

The location of the wireless charging pad varies by model. Common locations include the
front of the center console, top of the center console armrest, or in a small vertical pocket or bin near the gear shifter. Check your Owner’s Manual for more information.

How do I save my seating positions?

If your vehicle is equipped with Memory Seats, you can set and recall your preferred seat position. For more information, see Using Memory Seats or check your Owner’s Manual.

How do I use my climate controls?

You can control your vehicle’s climate control system through buttons on your dashboard or touch screen. Depending on your vehicle model, you can set automatic temperature controls and set controls for rear passengers. For more information, see Using Climate Controls or check your Owner’s Manual.

How do I set up my vehicle’s mobile app?

There are several steps to follow to activate your vehicle's mobile app. Have your username and password handy and make sure your vehicle and mobile device are compatible with the app. Download the myBuick mobile app from the App Store® or Google Play™†. Launch the app and enter your Owner Center username and password. Agree to the OnStar® Terms and Conditions to continue. You’ll only need to do this on your initial login. Keep your OnStar PIN handy. You’ll need it to access features within your app.

How can I download my Owner's Manual?

You can visit the Buick Owner Center to view or download an electronic copy of the Owner’s Manual for most vehicles from 1993 to present. Just select your vehicle’s year, make and model and then click “View Your Owner’s Manual.” Once there, you can scroll through and view how-to videos to learn about your vehicle's features and operation.

How can I manage my OnStar® service?

You can manage your account and Connected Services online by visiting your vehicle Owner Center, pushing the blue OnStar button in your vehicle and speaking with an Advisor, or calling 1.888.4ONSTAR (1.888.466.7827).

DRIVING AND SAFETY -> ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE

What is Roadside Assistance?

Your Buick’s Roadside Assistance program comes standard during the limited warranty period with each new Buick vehicle. Provided services typically include:

  • 24-hour, 7 days/week toll-free 800 phone assistance
  • Towing to the closest Buick dealer (from a legal roadway)
  • Flat-tire change (using your vehicle's spare)
  • Battery jump-start
  • Vehicle unlock service
  • Emergency fuel delivery

There is generally no charge for any of these services while your vehicle is covered by the complimentary Roadside Assistance service. However, you may incur charges for some services, including towing the vehicle beyond the closest Buick dealer, non-warranty parts and labor, fuel-delivery costs, or lost-key replacement. How do I contact Roadside Assistance?

If your Buick vehicle is equipped with an active OnStar® Safety & Security and Buick Remote Access & OnStar Safety & Security Bundle, you can simply push the blue OnStar button for roadside service. Or you can call 800-252-1112.

RECALL

How do I know if there was a recall for my vehicle?

Buick notifies the owners of vehicles affected by recalls in writing within 60 days of the recall announcement. To check if your vehicle has an active recall, visit the Buick Owner Center and enter your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) to see all recall notices affecting your vehicle.

What do I need to do to maintain my vehicle?

A vehicle’s wiper blades, brake pads, fluids and tires are just a few of the items that should be maintained on a regular basis. Certified Service experts can recommend your vehicle’s optimum maintenance schedule. Your Owner’s Manual also is a resource to help you understand your vehicle’s maintenance needs. You can log in to your account in the GM Owner Center to track your service history, view your Owner’s Manual, watch how-to videos, check your warranty status and more.

When do I need an oil change?

Consult your vehicle Owner’s Manual for the manufacturer’s suggested oil-change interval. Engine oil breaks down over time; so even if the specified mileage has not been reached, auto manufacturers recommend changing the oil regularly.

Can I visit any GM dealer for service or repairs?

If your vehicle requires service, we recommended that you call your preferred dealer or visit your dealership’s website to schedule an appointment for Buick Certified Service. Our Certified Service technicians are trained in performing Buick-specific service and repair and have GM essential service tools and diagnostics information available to them.

Will I get a loaner vehicle when my car is in for service?

During the warranty coverage period, Buick provides alternate transportation and/or reimbursement of certain transportation expenses under the Courtesy Transportation Program if your vehicle requires warranty repairs. Several transportation options are available. Refer to your Owner’s Manual or consult your Buick dealer for more details.

Who do I contact if I have a concern with my vehicle?

Your dealer's sales or service departments will work to resolve your concerns with the sales transaction or the operation of your vehicle. If your vehicle requires service, we recommend that you call your preferred dealer or visit your dealership’s website. Normally, issues can be resolved at the dealer. ACCOUNT

How do I log in to Owner Center?

Your email address and password can be used to sign in to the Owner Center; the myChevrolet, myBuick, myGMC and myCadillac apps; and the My Chevrolet, My Buick, My GMC and My Cadillac Rewards sites. You can also use your email address and password to sign into your infotainment system on all capable vehicles.

What should I do if I can't access my vehicle information in Owner Center?

You may not see service history records if your dealer does not participate in service history data-sharing or if your service was performed within the past two weeks. If you’ve had your vehicle serviced at multiple dealerships, you may only be able to see some of your records, depending on dealer participation. For more information, contact the Buick Owner Center by calling 1-866-694-6546. The hours of operation are Monday through Saturday, 8AM–9PM EST.

Why is my SiriusXM® account information incorrect?

There may be a slight time delay between when SiriusXM account updates occur and when they are reflected in your Buick Owner Center account. You can get your up-to-date account status information by logging in to the "Manage Account" section of SiriusXM.

Why doesn't the GM Card information match the information on my current statement or the GM Card website?

There is a slight time lag between when transactions occur on the GM Rewards Card website and when they are reflected on your Buick Owner Center account. It may take up to five days for the information to match.

What does my warranty cover?

Your vehicle could be covered by a New Vehicle warranty, a GM Parts and Labor warranty, or a Replacement Parts and Accessories warranty. For your vehicle’s warranty information, visit the Warranty Tracker site. You will need to sign into your GM account.

What does my maintenance plan cover?

Can I purchase a vehicle directly from the factory?

How do I place an order for a new vehicle?

How do I find out the trade-in value for my vehicle?

How can I get a conversion package?

Where can I apply for vehicle financing?

Where can I purchase accessories for my vehicle?

Are accessories covered by warranty?

Buick Accessories are protected by the New Vehicle Limited Warranty when they are installed by a Buick dealer at the time of new vehicle delivery. After that time, they are warranted for the longer of the following: a) 12 months/12,000 miles (whichever comes first) or b) the balance of the applicable portion of the New Vehicle Limited Warranty.

Where can I purchase merchandise?
