Encore’s available Rear Cross Traffic Alert senses cross traffic up to 65 feet away, which may not be visible to a driver when backing out of a parking space or driveway. The driver is alerted with a red directional arrow displayed on the Rear Vision Camera screen and three directional beeps.
Encore comes with 10 standard air bags7, including:
To add to its extensive standard safety features, Encore offers available Forward Collision Alert. It’s a camera-based technology that detects a possible collision threat and alerts the driver to take action.
Encore is always looking out for you, especially when it comes to changing lanes. Available Lane Departure Warning issues both visual and audible warnings when the vehicle begins to drift out of its lane.
Encore performs efficiently so that you can enjoy the drive. Its 6-speed automatic, 1.4L ECOTEC® 138hp turbocharged engine with variable valve timing delivers power efficiently. Standard StabiliTrak® and full-time traction control combined with the available all-wheel drive (AWD) system constantly monitors and adapts to road conditions, adding to Encore’s stability and providing the driver with greater control.
