1982: Buick introduces its first ragtop since 1975 with the first-ever Riviera convertible.

1981 – PRESENT

1987: Based on the heavily optioned Regal Grand National, the GNX was clocked by Car and Driver at 4.7 seconds in the 0 to 60.

1981 – PRESENT

1988: Buick introduces the Reatta two-passenger luxury vehicle at a price tag of $25,000.

1991: The Park Avenue debuts with a 170 bhp V6 engine and electronically controlled 4-speed automatic transmission.

1981 – PRESENT

1992: The first Roadmaster since 1959 debuts with a 180-bhp 5.7L V8 engine and throttle-body fuel injection.

2004: The Rainier SUV brings Buick its first V8 engine in eight years.

2005: Buick introduces the third vehicle in its SUV portfolio: the Terraza.
