Bumper-to-Bumper Limited Warranty

During the warranty period that applies to your vehicle, Buick backs your new vehicle with its no-deductible Bumper-to-Bumper Limited Warranty. The vehicle is warranted for repairs, including parts and labor, to correct defects in materials or workmanship, during the warranty period (except normal maintenance). Needed repairs will be performed using Genuine GM Parts. The warranty transfers automatically with vehicle ownership during the warranty period.

New Buick Optional Extended Limited Warranty

When you purchase a new Buick vehicle, you automatically receive the standard manufacturer’s Bumper-to-Bumper Limited Warranty.  Now you have the choice to select the longer optional Extended Limited Warranty.  Here is how it works:

For 2020 Buick vehicles, you automatically receive the standard manufacturer’s warranty of 3-year/36,000-mile, whichever comes first, Bumper-to-Bumper Limited Warranty.  You have the option to choose the longer optional Extended Limited Warranty, with coverage for 5-years/60,000 miles, whichever comes first.  See dealer for details.

For 2018-2019 Buick vehicles, you automatically receive the standard manufacturer’s warranty of 4-year/50,000 mile, whichever comes first, Bumper-to-Bumper Limited Warranty. You have the option to choose the longer optional Extended Limited Warranty, with coverage for 6-years/70,000 miles, whichever comes first.  See dealer for details.

Buick’s optional Extended Limited Warranty has no deductible and the entire vehicle is warranted for repairs, including parts and labor, to correct defects in materials or workmanship, excluding routine maintenance. Covered repairs will be performed using new, remanufactured, or refurbished parts. As with the standard term Bumper-to-Bumper Warranty, the optional Extended Warranty transfers automatically with vehicle ownership during the warranty period. See dealer for pricing.

Corrosion

Buick vehicles are designed and built to resist corrosion. All body and sheet metal components are warranted against corrosion during the warranty period that applies to your vehicle, for 3 years or 36,000 miles for 2020 vehicles and 4 years or 50,000 miles for 2019 vehicles. Application of additional rust-inhibiting materials is neither necessary nor required under the Corrosion Coverage. See your Buick dealer for terms of this limited warranty.

Rust-Through Coverage

During the warranty period that applies to your vehicle, Buick vehicles are designed and built to resist rust through. Any sheet metal that rusts through, causing an actual hole in the sheet metal, is covered for 6 years or 100,000 miles  for 2020 vehicles and 6 years with unlimited miles for 2018 and 2019 vehicles. Application of additional rust-inhibiting materials is neither necessary nor required under Rust-Through Coverage. See your Buick dealer for terms of this limited warranty.

General Motors is not responsible for the safety or quality of design features, materials or workmanship of any alterations by such suppliers.
