About the GM™ Mastercard® (until 8/22/2025)
Important information about the GM Mastercard for existing Cardmembers.
At 12:01 a.m. ET on August 22, 2025, GM credit card accounts will transfer from Marcus by Goldman Sachs® to Barclays Bank.
The following benefits will continue through August 21, 2025:
- 5% Earnings on all purchases – There may be limits to how much you can earn with your credit card each year, or you may have limits on how much in Earnings you can use. To understand limits, review program rules and for more information about your credit card benefits, please log in to your GM Mastercard Earnings account online at gmcard.com.
- All Earnings help you toward the purchase or lease of an eligible, new Chevrolet, Buick, GMC or Cadillac vehicle

Transitioning from the GM Mastercard from Marcus by Goldman Sachs to the GM Rewards Mastercard from Barclays
If your GM Mastercard account is transitioning to Barclays Bank, you should receive a new GM Rewards Mastercard from Barclays Bank in August. If you have any authorized users, their card(s) will be sent to the primary Cardmember. You should continue to use your GM Mastercard as normal, and Marcus by Goldman Sachs® will continue to service your credit card account until the transfer to Barclays is complete.
If you transition to the new GM Rewards Mastercard from Barclays, you will become a GM Rewards
Transitioning Cardmembers should have received an email or direct mail from GM outlining the changes in late May 2025. You can learn more about the GM Rewards Mastercard and all of its benefits here. For any questions, please see the following GMCreditCardFAQs.com from Barclays.
