About Using GM Rewards™ Points

Buy or Lease an Eligible, New GM Vehicle*

Visit a participating dealer to use your points toward an eligible, new Chevrolet, Buick, GMC or Cadillac vehicle purchase or lease. Just let your dealer know you want to use your points toward the purchase and provide the last four digits of your Member Number to complete the process. Points will be automatically removed from your account once the purchase is complete.  

Chevrolet, Buick, GMC or Cadillac Certified Pre-Owned* and CarBravo* Vehicles 

Members can use points toward a Certified Pre-Owned and CarBravo vehicle purchase at a participating GM Dealership.

Certified Service*, Accessories*, GM Genuine Parts and ACDelco parts*, and GM Protection Plans*

Using points toward eligible accessories and parts is easy. Visit the accessories or parts site, log in, and ensure you apply your points in checkout.

You can shop accessories from Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac.

If you prefer to do this at a participating dealership, let your dealer know you want to use your points toward the purchase and provide them the with your name, ZIP code, and then either your GM Rewards Member number or the last 4 digits of the GM Rewards™ Mastercard® to complete the process. 

You can redeem points to purchase a GM Protection Plan* with the coverage, deductible and contract term that’s right for you. Just let your participating dealership know you’d like to apply points to your purchase and redeem the desired amount. 

OnStar® 

You can use your points online toward most OnStar plans.* Simply log in to My Account, go to the Redeem page, click on OnStar and select one of your connected vehicles from the dropdown to see available plans and options.

Please note: When activating OnStar plans with your points, it may take up to 24–48 hours for service to begin.

GM and Cadillac Financial

Start by logging in to gmfinancial.com or cadillacfinancial.com. You will have the ability to select how many points you would like to apply to your account balance*. The selected points will automatically be removed from your GM Rewards Member account.

Please note: All point redemptions are final and cannot be reversed. Your credit will appear within 1–3 business days. Additionally, the first and last name of the member, email address, and physical address must match both your GM Financial or Cadillac Financial and GM Rewards Member accounts.

GM Exclusive Experiences and Access

As a Member, you get the opportunity to use points toward exclusive events hosted by GM. Check out our current experiences in the “Redeem” section of your Rewards dashboard.

Please note: Members must have the specified number of points available to use per each Experience. Member is responsible for ensuring event tickets are used within the time period specified for each Experience. Selected points will be deducted from Member’s account whether or not they attend the event. Experiences are nontransferable.*
