How to use or purchase a gift card

Using a GM Company Store gift card is simple and can be done during the checkout process.

To use your gift card:

1. Select items to purchase from the GM Company Store and add them to your cart.

2. Proceed to the Checkout page.

3. Locate the gift card code found in the gift card email you received.

4. Enter your gift card code in the “Discount code or gift card” field on the Checkout page.

5. Select Apply.

You should now see your gift card balance applied to your cart total and may proceed with completing your purchase.

Gift cards for the GM Company Store can be purchased in denominations of $25, $50 and $100. Gift cards are in the form of online codes and are not physical cards. Once purchased, you or your chosen recipient (if sending as a gift) will receive a code to use during the checkout process.

To buy a gift card:

1. Visit the GM Company Store gift card page.

2. Select a denomination.

3. Select the number of cards you would like to purchase.

4. If sending as a gift, select the box marked, “I want to send this as a gift.”             

a. Enter recipient’s email.

b. Optional: Enter recipient’s name, a date to send the gift card or a message.

5. Select Add to Cart.

6. Select View Cart from the side pop-up window.
7. Select Checkout.
8. On the Checkout page, you can enter or select:

a. Delivery address

b. Shipping method

c. Payment information

d. Discount/promo code

9. Select Pay now to complete your purchase.
 

You will receive confirmation of your purchase and your gift card code via email. If you sent the gift card to someone else as a gift, the recipient will receive the gift card code via email on the date specified, if selected.

Note: GM Rewards™ members can enter their information on the Cart or Checkout pages to earn and redeem points for their gift card purchase.
