BUICK WELLNESS GUIDE
YOUR BUICK: A SELF-CARE RESOURCE
YOUR BUICK: A SELF-CARE RESOURCE
Like millions of Americans, Buick owners continue to embrace new normals and adjust to ever-evolving situations.
HERE ARE A FEW SIMPLE WAYS TO UTILIZE YOUR VEHICLE AS PART OF THAT ALL-IMPORTANT SELF-CARE ROUTINE:
Keep you and yours looking up with an at-home stargazing session through the moonroof of your Buick vehicle. There are many free mobile apps available to help you identify the constellations. Just recline the seats and connect to the sky above your neighborhood.
TAKE A TRIP TO THE MOVIES (AT HOME)
While going out may be temporarily off the table, try a “drive in” from the comfort of your vehicle using a smartphone projector (or make one as a family craft – there are many how-to guides online) and project on a garage door or sheet. Grab drinks and popcorn, and it’s showtime.
VEHICLE CARE TIPS
VEHICLE MAINTENANCE. MEET SOCIAL DISTANCING
VEHICLE MAINTENANCE, MEET SOCIAL DISTANCING
Taking a little time now to maintain your Buick inside and out can help ensure that you’ll have a healthy vehicle waiting when it’s time to get back to life outside the home.
HERE ARE SOME TIPS TO KEEP YOUR VEHICLE IN GREAT SHAPE, EVEN IF YOU'RE NO LONGER DRIVING IT DAILY:
KNOW THE ESSENTIALS
Taking a short drive for essential tasks (like grocery shopping) helps avoid problems that can happen if your vehicle isn’t being driven regularly, such as flat spots on tires or a drained battery. Even when you’re at home, simply moving your car to a new position will help avoid those flat spots.
EXAMINE THE DETAILS
Take a little time to perform an exterior vehicle inspection. Check your wiper blades for signs of cracking or wear that can show up after a long winter and be sure to top off your washer fluid.
CHECK YOUR TIRES
Now’s a great time to check your tire condition and tire pressure. To check your tire tread depth, insert a penny into your tire’s tread groove with Lincoln’s head upside down and facing you. If you can see all of Lincoln’s head, it’s time to replace your tires. If you do need to replace your tires, schedule service with the Certified Service experts at your Buick dealer. Many dealerships remain open even in these uncertain times.
CLEAN YOUR EXTERIOR
This is a great time to give your vehicle some love. Give your vehicle a hand wash with soap specially formulated for automotive paint (avoid dish soap, as it removes your vehicle’s protective layer of wax). If you haven’t hand waxed your vehicle in a while, this could be the perfect time to do so.

CLEAN YOUR INTERIOR
The interior of your vehicle goes through a lot – make sure you’re wiping down surfaces and cleaning the interior just like you would your home. Give it a good vacuum and use a soft bristle brush to remove dust from knobs and crevices on the instrument cluster. Use only cleaners designed specifically for automotive interiors and use light pressure to avoid damaging any surfaces.
